Li Sanren and Shang Aiyun, parents of Huugjilt who was wrongly convicted and executed in a controversial 1996 rape and murder case, hug Tang Ji, journalist of Xinhua News Agency, after hearing the trail result, Dec. 15, 2014, when the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Higher People's Court overturned Huugjilt's previous conviction and ruled he was not guilty of rape and murder, saying that the facts of his case were unclear and evidence was inadequate. In November 2013, the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held its third plenary session to focus on comprehensively deepening reform.
